Natural Park of the Ampezzo Dolomites

Established in 1990, the Natural Park of the Ampezzo Dolomites covers an area of 11,200 hectares north of the centre of Cortina and is one of 4 regional parks in Veneto.

The park borders with the South Tyrolean park of Fanes - Senes - Braies, with which it forms a protected nature area of approximately 37,000 hectares which includes majestic mountain ranges over 3,200m .

Many different animals live inside the park, including chamoix, deer, roe deer, eagles and marmots.
